The Venue

1st Class Hotel in the heart of Preston, Lancashire. Expect the unexpected and luxurious accommodation at No.10 Preston. The Hotel has 14 themed apartments featured with stylish interiors and we provide a bespoke, anticipatory service for our guests!

 

The Position

The chosen candidate will work closely with the Hotel Manager to carry out a variety of duties, strive to continuously improve the Guest experience and operational effectiveness of the department in order to enhance sales and service, manage spend and control costs to ensure a profitable operation. Main Responsibilities:

In charge of overseeing the day to day running of the business and ensure that all areas are maintained to a 5-star standard.

To represent senior management and to take ownership when dealing with customer complaints and guest requests.

Ensure running a smooth Front of house operations and be the ‘go to’ person for the Hotel Staff.

Maintain a strong working relationship with all departments to support where required.

Identify and report to the hotel manager any potential guest issues.

Conduct regular inspections of the hotel for appearance, safety, staffing and maintenance

Requirements

Strong leadership qualities with an excellent * Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities for self and others and the ability to work under pressure and to manage a diverse workload with competing priorities * Sales projections and profit achievement together with business acumen. * High attention to detail and a passion for achieving high standards * Exceptional communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Resilience and ability to perform under pressure. * Pro-active with excellent follow through on tasks

Previous experience in the Hotel Industry is essential.
